Guu Otokomae located in Gastown is one of my favourite izakayas. I love popping in after work for some drinks and delicious food.
What I ate: Mushroom Cheese Bibimbap キノコとチーズの石焼きビビンバ ($8.50) fried rice in a hot stone bowl w/ mushrooms, cheese w/ “nori” seaweed sauce
This is one of my favourite dishes here! Can’t go wrong with cheese and rice in a hot stone bowl. This is quite filling, so it’s good to split with someone else.
What I ate: Maguro Tataki 鬢長マグロのニンニクたたき ($8.40) seared tuna sashimi w/ ponzu topped w/ garlic chips & green onion
Standard tuna tataki, but very yummy nonetheless.
