Sulmida is the newest Korean dessert cafe on the block. Located across from Metrotown it is a really cute little cafe spot.
It is Chinese run (but the cashier in the front was Korean) establishment, which doesn’t matter to me because they make a mean patbingsoo.
What I ate: Matcha Patbingsoo (~$10)
THIS WAS SO GOOD. They were extremely generous with the green tea powder and red bean. The mochi was homemade (we saw them making it in the back)and there was a very generous amount of red bean hidden inside the shaved ice.
The only thing I would change is to use matcha ice cream instead of plain vanilla, but other than that, this dessert was amazing!
Would I come back? YES! I already have plans to come back to try all their other flavours! I’m especially interested in their Injeolmi Patbingsoo!
